Due to the current corona situation, our workshops can currently only take place to a limited extent.

Art at Marta isn’t just something to look at passively. It’s an opportunity to get stuck in by rolling up your sleeves and trying out your own artistic ideas. Our varied program has something for everybody. Alongside the regular activities listed below, we also hold workshops on our exhibitions.
Every first and third Saturday in the month, 11 a.m to 1 p.m.
Children from the age of 8 can first explore the exhibition before imaginatively expressing their impressions and ideas as they put their own artistic skills to the test in the open studio.
Price: 5 Euro (including admission and material)
Individual sessions, no booking required, up to 6 children

Various Monday afternoons, 4 to 5 p.m.
An opportunity for children aged 3 to 6 accompanied by a parent or grandparent to experiment with paint, paper, and clay. In this course, budding artists can reinforce their personal development as they explore the aesthetics of various materials.
Price: 20 Euro (including material)
Only bookable as a series of 4 consecutive sessions, up to 10 children + accompanying adult

Various Wednesday afternoons, 4.15 to 5.45 p.m.
For children aged 6 and upwards who want to experiment with paints, shapes, and paper with gusto. There are no limits to the imagination in this workshop, which revolves around the maxim: “Every child can be an artist!”

During the school holidays, children can enjoy whole days of creativity, fun and exploration in the special workshops at Marta. All interests are catered for, including painting, printing, architecture, and even recycling!

Whether it’s before, after or even while visiting an exhibition, the Open Studio in the Marta lobby is the place for families to discover their creativity together and get to grips with various artistic styles. Free of charge – and no booking required!
