In the company of an experienced museum educator, the children encounter selected works of art, and are encouraged to see and listen more precisely and to appreciate and talk about what they are experiencing. At the end they can do practical work in the Marta Atelier.
Duration: 1.5 hrs

The extraordinary architecture of the museum invites people to admire and explore. After a tour of the Marta Herford building on the outside and inside, imaginative houses can be created in the Marta Atelier.

Dialogue
In the course of the dialogue, the pupils exchange their thoughts on the current exhibitions. Precise looking and questions on the works of art are encouraged.

Students discover the current exhibition in dialogue with a Marta art educator and can ask questions about the art.
Duration: 1 hr
Fee: 35 Euro per group (max. 25 students), 1 accompanying adult free
Between dark-red brick and bright stainless steel, the students explore the curved Marta buildings and learn a lot about the special Gehry architecture of the museum.

Cooperation and projects
We are happy to work with kindergartens, schools, universities, family centres, leisure-time and senior citizen facilities in projects and seminars. All participants in tours must pay the respective museum admission price (see admission prices). In addition, in the case of cancellation as of 3 calendar days before the tour, 80% of the tour fee is due, and on the day of the tour 100% of the respective tour fee. The tour fee increases by 15% for every ¼ of an hour late appearance. After one hour waiting time, the tour guide is entitled to leave the meeting point; there is no obligation to hold even a shortened tour.
