The exhibition at Marta Herford traces a journey from Germany through the Parisian suburbs to the artist&#8217;s Algerian homeland. At the heart of the solo show is an AI-supported cinematic homage to his aunt Noubia, which tells the story of her self-determined path to independence, from her time as a sex worker in Algeria, through migration, to her life in Osnabr\u00fcck. In addition, new and older works by Bourouissa are presented, including pieces specifically developed for the museum&#8217;s architecture or shown for the first time.
