Every first and third Saturday of the month, from 11 AM to 1 PM

In this open studio, children aged 6 and over have the opportunity to explore the exhibition and then try themselves out as artists. The impressions and ideas gained are implemented in an imaginative way.

Scribbling, Scrawling and much More

Children from 3 to 6 years old are playfully introduced to artistic techniques and materials together with their parents or grandparents. In the creative timeout, the large and small participants can express themselves with colors, papers and clay.

Art Box

On various Tuesday afternoons, 4:15 PM to 5:45 PM

This art workshop is aimed at children aged 6 and over who want to experiment with colors, shapes and papers to their heart’s content. There are no limits to the imagination in this workshop, according to the motto: Every child can be an artist!

Holidays at Marta

Whether Easter, summer or autumn vacations: Children are welcome to be active in the holiday workshops at Marta. Whether color studio, printing, recycling or architecture workshop – there is something for every interest.

Individual appointments can be arranged for groups (e.g. day-care centers, youth centers, holiday playgroups or initiatives).

There are also workshop offers for children on fixed dates that can be booked individually.

Advent Studio

Contemplative and beautiful hours at Marta

Children from the age of six can get in the mood for Christmas in the Advent studio and shorten the waiting time for the festival with creative activities. Together we fold stars and design snowflakes. The results can be used as homemade gifts.

Children's Birthday and More

Celebrate your child’s birthday at Marta

Birthday children can celebrate their special day with games and fun and a large portion of art at Marta. There are various offers to choose from for the children’s birthday:

Surprise birthday
Together, the children discover the different works of art in the exhibitions: from paintings to sculptures to photographs and video. Afterwards, it’s all about creating your own in the Marta studio. There, inspired by the themes of the exhibition, the children can try out artistic techniques and materials.

Architecture birthday
The imaginative Marta building invites you to discover and marvel: crooked walls, hidden windows and high rooms. After an exploration tour, the experiences and impressions can be implemented in your own fantastic drawings, paintings and models.

Workshop birthday
The Marta studio is a creative place that invites you to create art. Together with friends, you can try out new things here, for example in a printing, color or paper workshop.

Artistic workshops for different age groups and on a variety of topics and techniques can be individually coordinated with us.
